The Federal Ministry of Information has said that the developmental projects being executed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Northern Nigeria are tangible and visible.
The Head of the Federal Information Centre in Kano, Mohammed Ismail Ishaq, in his welcome remarks, stated this during a sensitization lecture on the mid-term report of President Tinubu’s administration, held at Federal Secretariat in Kano on Tuesday.
According to Ishaq, it is important to note that the administration of Tinubu had executed so many projects in the north, especially north west zone.
He pointed out that Kano State had benefitted immensely from such projects in the areas of housing, agriculture, road networks, education, among others.
He explained that the purpose of the sensitization is to avail the people of Kano about the various projects and programme embarked upon by the Tinubu’s administration.
“It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to this important gathering where the citizenry of Kano State would be sensitize on the Mid – Term report of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, the purpose of this sensitization is to avail the good people of Kano State about the various project and programme embarked upon by the present administration.
“It is important to note that the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu has executed so many projects in the North West zone of the country, among which Kano State has benefitted from such projects in the areas of Housing, Agriculture, Road Networks, Education to mention but a few.
“During the sensitization exercise people may get to know the various projects that are being executed by the present administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu”, Malam Ishaq stated.
Delivering a lecture, Malam Abubakar Haruna, highlighted the projects executed in northwestern region, which according to him, were captured by the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation Agency (NOA).
According to Haruna, the administration of Tinubu is actively delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that “in the Northwest zone, tangible results are being recorded in the areas of education infrastructure, agriculture, energy and housing.”
He noted that it is crucial for the cozens to be availed with the projects such as 500 housing units in Lambu, Tofa Local Government, road construction projects in Sokoto, Kano, Kebbi and Zamfara, rail and power projects, NE FIND students loan schemes, rehabilitation of farmlands and dams, farmers support packages, among others.
