The Embassy of the United States of America in Nigeria Thursday held a reception in honor of Mr. Sean McIntosh, Press Attaché.
The colorful reception was held in Maitama, Abuja with members of the press, both editors and publishers including the diplomatic community in attendance.
Victoria Sloan, Counselor for Public Affairs, USA Embassy welcomed guests with a cheering thank you.
Speaking at the event, McIntosh similarly thanked the media for attending the reception. He said he will work with the media to achieve his objectives.
McIntosh charged the media to always call him to clarify issues relating to the United States before publishing.
He indicated an open door policy in the handling of media matters relating to the United States.
McIntosh was at the reception with his wife.
