The Yobe State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to good governance with a three-day capacity-building workshop for focal persons, aimed at enhancing qualitative service delivery for sustainable development.
Thr training was held from May 7th to 9th, 2025, at BON Hotel, Kano.
The event was organized by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government under the theme: Towards a Qualitative and Impactful Service Delivery for Sustainable Development.”
Governor Mai Mala Buni, represented by the Yobe Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, emphasized that effective service delivery remains a top priority of his administration.
He noted that the state has established strategic partnerships in health, education, agriculture, and environment, requiring efficient coordination by focal persons.
“This workshop is designed to sharpen your perspectives, encourage global thinking, and ensure local impact in service delivery,” the Governor stated.
The workshop featured eight technical sessions led by experts from the University of Maiduguri, development specialists, and communication professionals.
