You’re a bastion of democracy — Ortom tells Mark at 76

The immediate past Governor of Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom has described former Senate President, Senator David Mark as a statesman, seasoned administrator and a bastion of democracy who has always stood for the rule of law, equity and justice.
Chief Ortom said this in a message signed by his former Media Adviser Terver Akase on Monday while congratulating the former Senate President on his 76th birthday.
Governor Ortom said Senator Mark deserves all the accolades, prayers and well wishes he is receiving at the moment having served the country selflessly and with commitment and patriotism.
Hear him,“Senator David Mark is a true patriot and leader who has over the years, made selfless contributions to the peace, unity and development of the country. As he celebrates his 76th birthday anniversary, I extend very warm felicitations to him on behalf of my family. It is my prayer that Almighty God keeps and blesses him with good health as he continues to play a fatherly role for the benefit of the state and country at large.”
