Zamfara APC denies being dragged to Court by aggrieved members

Date:

From: Ibrahim Sidi Muh’d, Gusau

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked an online report that aggrieved leaders of the party in Shinkafi local government area filed a case before the court challenging their alleged dismissal by the state leaders.
The report was dismissed in a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Yusuf Idris Gusau, saying, the party has come across a suspicious speculative information being spread in an online medium purportedly claiming that some aggrieved APC members from Shinkafi local government area have sued the state chapter of the party.
The statement further cleared that, according to the report, one Babangida Aliyu Shinkafi, Kabiru Ibrahim and Ibrahim D. Kurya filed a suit on Friday last week under suit N0 ZMS/GS/65/2025.
“This information is false and baseless, coming from mischievous persons to tarnish the ever increasing good image of the APC in the state.
“The party is not aware of anything concerning discipline and / or suspension of any of its members from Shinkafi, nor has the party received any order in this regard from any court of law.”
