No fewer than 255 cartons of Alcohol of different brands have been seized by the Kebbi State Hisbah.
The operation was done on Saturday when the Hisbah operative acted on a tip-off and swooped around the old market area where car loaded with the banned products was arrested.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the exercise, the Kebbi State commandant of the Hisbah Board, Alhaji Suleiman Mohammed said that the board will continue to enforce the law until people learn to respect them.
He added that, the laws of Kebbi State banned the sale and consumption of alcohol in all parts of the state, with the exception of Barrack and similar outposts.
