The Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, ADSPHCDA, has concluded arrangements to commence National Immunization Plus Days with two (2) drops of oral polio vaccine in the state.
Executive Chairman of the Agency, Dr. Suleiman Bashir Sa’idu gave the hint in Yola on Wednesday during a media engagement Christined “Mass Media Dialogue with journalists, social media youth influencers and partners”, noting that, the immunization exercise is solely for building defense mechanism against all kinds of diseases.
Dr.Saidu stressed that the exercise is aimed at improving the usual routine immunization for more successes in the health care delivery services.
He applauded the support and cooperation received from development partners especially the Unicef.
He observed that high level of traveling by people especially Nigerians to other locations globally attract vulnerability of diseases.
He urge the residents to accord their wards the needed health care services for healthy growth and to cooperate with the medical teams.
He explained that the awareness campaigns are collective responsibility, announcing that, the government has just transmitted N100 Million to Unicef and N50 Million to UNFPA as counter funding.
