The Adamawa state Gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party(LP),Umar Mustapha Madawaki has stepped down his governorship ambition for Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani of the APC.
Madawaki made the official declaration at a world press conference in Yola weekend, stressing that he is saving his personal dreams and ambitions temporarily in favour and support of another dream and ambition for the sake of a greater good.
Madawaki fondly called “Otumba of Ekiti” in the state political arena urged all his teeming supporters and followers to go out and vote massively for APC gubernatorial candidate,Senator Binani in the forthcoming Saturday’s governorship and State Assembly elections.
“I have decided to put my political ambition momentarily on hold and fully support the gubernatorial aspirations of Senator Aishatu Ahmed Binani of the All Progressives Congress,APC.
“I am confident that Binani will provide a people-centred leadership that will prioritise human capital development,social development and resource development that will eventually prosper Adamawa state and bring it to the place of genuine and sustainable growth and development.
“I am calling on my supporters and followers all over Adamawa state to come out on Saturday 11th of March and vote Senator Aishatu Binani as Governor of Adamawa state”.
