A media analyst, Malam Abdulmalik Suleiman, has declared that there is no state where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is more assured of an easy victory than Kano State, attributing it to the purposeful leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Suleiman made the assertion on Monday in Abuja while addressing newsmen.
He described Governor Yusuf as a God fearing leader who sees leadership as service to humanity, adding that his style of governance has earned him respect and the confidence of the people not only in Kano but across the entire Northern region.
“Governor Abba is a God fearing leader who sees leadership as service to humanity. That is exactly what His Excellency epitomizes. With the kind of governance he is providing in Kano, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will confidently win Kano State by a wide margin,” he said.
The analyst noted that Kano State is today one of the most secure states in Nigeria due to Governor Abba’s effective leadership and prudent management of state affairs.
He added that the governor is a man who does not oppress opposing opinions nor harass critics with state machinery, but rather focuses on service delivery to the people.
Suleiman said Governor Abba is a focused and dedicated leader who is touching all the 44 Local Government Areas and wards across the state at random with projects and people oriented programs.
He noted that the governor is widely loved by the people of the state, particularly youths, women, traders and pensioners, who have benefitted directly from his policies.
He further stated that Governor Abba is the first governor in Kano history where members of almost all political parties are supporting his re-election, backed by an elite consensus endorsement.
He added that the governor’s achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and job creation have earned him admiration across political divides.
According to him, the administration’s impact has triggered a major political realignment in the state.
“It’s no more news that Sen. Rufai and Sen. Gaya are on their way back to the APC. Opposition politicians are leaving in droves to join the ruling party. This is a clear indication that Governor Yusuf is firmly in charge of Kano politics,” Suleiman stated.
He expressed confidence that with the ongoing wave of defections and the governor’s rising profile, Kano will deliver massive votes for President Tinubu and the APC in 2027.
“There is no sure state for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win easily like Kano,” he concluded.
