By Jude Opara

Supporters of the late Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial Zone, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, have regrouped.

They met yesterday, the first since the burial of the senator in November 2024.

The supporters who converged on Awka, the Anambra State capital, from various support groups previously maintained and oiled by the late Senator said their coming together was to form a common front and begin a search for a governorship candidate whose ideology matches that of their demised principal.

Before his death, Ubah, who had already disclosed his intention to contest the Anambra governorship seat on the platform of All Progressives Congress, (APC), was very optimistic of his victory and outlined various ways he intended to develop the state.
