The Delta State Government said it is ready to key into partnership initiatives that will be beneficial to citizens and residents of the state through the provision of quality services, facilities and job creation.
The Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Chief Patrick Ukah, stated this on sunday in Asaba when he commissioned DD’s Centrum Business Complex along DBS Road, Asaba.
The SSG said one of the flagship programmes of the Okowa administration is the Job Creation Agency established to empower the youths which has gone a long way in curbing youth restiveness in the state and occupying them positively.
Chief Ukah noted that the establishment of the business enterprise in the state was a welcome development as it will serve as a resource center for the state government’s various empowerment schemes for the youths in the state.
He said that there is a robust synergy between the state government and the private sector which has brought about the increase in the number of private businesses established in the state.
