An aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwagwalada Area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Sunday Shagi Jonah, has appealed to other party aspirants as well as supporters to remain peaceful during the primary election in the area.
Jonah made the appeal in an interview with newsmen after he declared his intention to contest for the position of the chairman in Gwagwalada Area Council on Saturday in Gwako, calling for the unity of the APC chairman aspirants.
He further charged the APC chairmanship aspirants to deem it necessary to play politics of maturity at all times, pleading with the supporters of aspirants to embrace peace.
He said he would not hesitate to work with any aspirant who emerged during the primary election, noting that all the aspirants were working towards the progress of the party.
