Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, says the Federal Government is preparing to make public the identities of individuals funding terrorism in Nigeria.
Bwala disclosed this during an interview on TVC on Sunday, saying the government has taken major security decisions that will begin to show results in the coming days.

He noted that terrorism has evolved into a global threat, stressing that cooperation from other nations is now crucial in tackling the menace. According to him, the world has treated terrorism as an international concern since the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center.

“Anywhere terrorism exists, it becomes the concern of the entire world,” he said, adding that Nigeria cannot fight the problem alone. “They were in the Middle East, and gradually they are moving towards the Sahel to create a hub of terrorism. That is why the demand is now on the world governments to see how they can cooperate with Nigeria.”

Bwala hinted that investigations surrounding the sponsors of violent groups are nearing completion.

“At home, the government is making far-reaching decisions, and in the coming days, we will know who the terrorists and their financiers are,” he assured.
