Current Super Eagles No 1 goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has attracted interests from pletoral of clubs across Europe and Africa.
Among Ezenwa’s suitors are French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns as well as Israeli clubs Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
It is also gathered that there are interests from Egyptian and Tunisian clubs.
The goalkeeper’s agent and chief executive of Johannesburg-based Gzedsports Management Company, Godwin Emmanuel, said: “Yes, it is true that some clubs are showing interests in signing Ezenwa.
“We are not surprised anyway given the favour of God on him which has granted him the grace of great performances in recent times both for club and country but particularly in the World Cup qualifiers.
“I cannot disclose the names of the clubs because there are other people working behind the scene for the success of Ezenwa.
“I can only tell you that we are waiting for divine direction on the next move for Ezenwa.”
Ezenwa simply said, “I am not thinking of where my next port of call will be. I have left it in God’s holy hands.
“My concern is to play football regularly and be happy.
“I want to remain focused and I pray for fitness at all times.”

I am a free player – Ezenwa declares
On Monday, Ezenwa declared he was a free player after his contract with FC Ifeanyiubah ran out.
He also added he will be ready to listen to any offers.
“I have served out my one and half year contract with FC Ifeanyiubah. I had a good time with the club, but I just have to move on as a player,” he said.
“I have offers presently but I am just studying them because as a national team goalkeeper I need to go to a place where I will get regular action and be in shape ahead of the World Cup.
“It is not all about moving to a club, it is all about where I will play regularly and be in the best shape.
“My agent and I are studying some of these offers before we take a decision and with time the world will know the team I will sign for.”
Ezenwa cancelled his contract with Sunshine Stars over unpaid salaries to join FC Ifeanyiubah last year.
He has since risen to be Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper in crucial World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon and Zambia.
He was recently voted the best goalkeeper at the WAFU Cup in Ghana.
He is also the No 1 and skipper of the country’s home-based Eagles, who have qualified for the 2018 CHAN in Morocco.
It remains to be seen which club the shotstopper would joing ahead if 2018 World Cup.
