Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, yesterday raised alarm that their members in Southern Kaduna are now vulnerable and easy targets for attacks, including burning of their houses.

According to the group, their members in Sanga and Kachia local government area of the state were the ones seriously affected.

MACBAN in a statement signed by its National Secretary, Alhaji Baba Usman Ngelzarma made available to newsmen in the state after their meeting with Zamfara state governor, said the only solution to the problem is dialogue with aggrieved persons in the area.

” We therefore call on the state government to involve the leadership of MACBAN, SOKAPU and all other related stakeholders to a roundtable with the view of finding ways out of the crisis.

” We urge the governor to borrow from the method adopted by his counterpart in Zamfara and Benue states where similar problems were laid to rest,” the group said.

The group further called on all its members to continue to respect and obey lawfully constituted authorities and the laws of the land wherever they are.
