Gombe state governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has laid a foundation for a new Gombe state House of Assembly, State High Court and Secretariat Complex.
Performing the function at the site in Gombe on Wednesday, the governor said the construction of state House of Assembly and that of the High court complexes alongside the state secretariat complex symbolises the three arms zone.
He said it will serve as an independent complex between the Executive, Legislature and the Judicial arms of government.
While stressing government commitment, governor Yahaya said since crestion of Gombe state 28 years ago, Gombe has never witnessed such a consolidated effort to create a biffiting working environment for civil servants.
According to him, his administration has made significant strides in education.
He added that “the health sector is another milestone in this administration which we have revitalized the existing hospitals and primary health centres and built new ones, thereby making quality medical services accessible to our people. “
He explained that the construction of the State High Court Complex was awarded at the cost of N14,926,171,688.42, while that of the State Assembly Complex was awarded at the cost of N14,054,828,311.58, making a total of N28,981,000,000.00.
