The Chairmanship candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT, Hon. Ezekiel Umar Biko, has debunked the allegation of financial misconduct levelled against him by the online chronicles reporters.
Biko disclosed this in an interview with Peoples Daily correspondent on Saturday in Gwagwalada, describing the investigative report carried out by the Chronicles Reporters as false accusation, baseless and malicious.
He said: “The investigative report was a politically motivated and calculated attempt by the Chronicle Reporters to tarnish his reputation and credibility”.
Commenting on the award of the Area aimed contracts which was one of the investigative reports by the Chronicles Reporters, the APGA candidate confirmed that he executed so many contracts in the Area Council without payment.
Biko, who is famously known as Zezelaga, however, denied that he was not one of those beneficiaries or contractors who used to connive with the government to siphon public funds.
