Former Daily Trust reporter Aliyu Hamagan has been attacked and seriously injured by hoodlums at his resident in Minna, Niger state capital.
The veteran journalist was reportedly attacked around 2:00 am by the criminals and inflicted injuries on his head and back with knife and cutlasses.
Aliyu Hamagan was a one time correspondent of Daily Trust in Niger, Gombe, Jigawa, and Kebbi states respectively.
When contacted the Niger State Police Command PPRO, SP Wasiu Abiodun said he is not aware of the said attack but will find out from the concern DPO before he could comment on the matter.
