The Managing Director/ CEO of Kaduna Electric, Engr. Yusuf Usman Yahaya has described the collapse of the part of the roof of the Zaria Central Mosque, which resulted in the death of about ten worshippers as “a painful tragedy and a very sad day in the history of Zazzau Emirate”
Engr. Yahaya made the assertion yesterday in Zaria when he led the Management of Kaduna Electric on a condolence visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli.
He said the Management and entire staff of Kaduna Electric share in the pains and agony of the families of those who lost their lives and those who sustained injuries.
“On behalf of the Management and entire staff of Kaduna Electric, we hereby express our deep and sincere condolence to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, families and loved ones of the deceased and the people of Zazzau Emirate in general over the unfortunate incident that occurred yesterday; we pray to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and the injured speedy recovery”, he said.
In his response, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli thanked the electricity Boss and his entourage standing by the Emirate at this trying moment.
