The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna, Edward Masha, yesterday convened a strategic meeting with the Kaduna State PDP Working Committee to discuss measures to strengthen the party’s structure and unity.
The meeting, held at the PDP state secretariat, focused on enhancing internal coordination, improving stability, and deepening strategic planning ahead of future political engagements in the state.
Mr Masha, who also chairs the Forum of PDP State Chairmen in the 19 northern states and the FCT, expressed gratitude to God for the peaceful conduct of the PDP National Convention in Ibadan.
He said, “We are profoundly grateful to the Almighty God for granting us a peaceful and successful national convention.
“Our delegates, members, and supporters travelled to Ibadan and returned safely without any incident. This is a demonstration of unity, maturity, and our collective desire for a stronger PDP.”
Masha also prayed for peace and security in Kaduna State and across the country, stating that the increasing hardship was aggravated by insecurity.
“I am deeply concerned about the rising level of insecurity affecting our communities.
The chairman further prayed for improved governance in the country.
He added, “We also ask God to grant the PDP lasting success and victory at all levels so that Nigeria can experience genuine progress and effective leadership.”
