Kaduna Polytechnic Governing Council has approved the appointment of Mrs. Catherine Eveh Uloko as the Deputy Rector of the institution.

The appointment, which is for an initial term of two (2) years, takes effect from 28th August, 2014 and may be renewed for a second and final term of two years.

This was contained in a statement signed by Deputy Registrar, Information & Protocol Alhaji. Lawal Muhammadu Kamba, made available to newsmen in the state.

A chief lecturer in the department of Urban and Regional Planning, College of Environmental Studies, Kaduna Polytechnic, Catherine Eva Uloko, holds Master of Science Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

She is a registered town planner (RTP410), member, Nigerian Environmental Society and member, Nigerian Institute of Town Planning (MNITP 563).

She is an assessor to many institutions and has authored 3 books and has many international and national journal publications to her credit. Mrs. Uloko was one time, Dean, School of Environmental Design of the Polytechnic and hailed from Ado Local Government Area of Benue State.
