Angry landlords of Aruoture street, Okumagba layout in warri and other residents in the area on Tuesday rejected, and threatened legal action over the alleged plan to construct a mortuary in the area.
Recall that one Dr Bright Djebah of Byrant Clinic situated at Eti street had few weeks said he was ready to build a mortuary outside his hospital in the area, a plan which provoked the landlords to have petitioned the local government authorities and the police to save from what they described as evil plan to expose them to dangers.
In a letter of protest by the landlords signed by Barr Ama Etuwewe ( SAN) , a copy made available to our correspondent in Asaba, said that the decision of Dr Bright Djebah to build a mortuary in the area, was uncalled for, arguing that it would create health hazards and unnecessary crowd associated with movement of corpses for burial in the area.
