Labour Party committee on Christian Muslims and Christian religious affairs has called on various religious leaders, CSOs, and other critical Stakeholders to intensify prayers for the peaceful conduct of the 2023 general elections.
The committee also commended Labour party presidential candidate, Peter Obi for the grace upon his life and also the grace that is making the Nigerians hope to put in their vote.
Speaking at the press briefing in Abuja, its Chairman, Pastor Wealth Chukwuka Martins revealed that the committee was inaugurated on the 21st of September and since then, the committee has been doing massive work.
“I urged all the various leaders, either in the church, Mosque, Civil society organization, and the relevant Stakeholders please work with God, be part of the process, and also be part of those talking so that we can have a better Nigeria.”
According to him, “One of the things we ensure we must do is to make sure that there is a 24-hour prayer chain that will not be broken by any force.
We are praying for Nigeria, to have a peaceful Election and also pray to ensure there is no pocket of violence in the forthcoming general election, and most importantly pray for the right people to come into power.
The leader that will rule with the fear of God, the greatest King David (Dauda) in the Bible said that” he ruling towards men must be just, ruling in the fears of God “, it is based on this foundation we are saying people should vote those that have fear of God.
Speaking on a collection of PVC, he said “We are grateful that everybody is taking the collection of PVCs seriously and also every Nigerian is working, praying for a successful election.
