The Yobe State Project Coordinator of the Multi-Sectoral Crisis Recovery Project, Alhaji Musa Idi Jidawa has restated their commitments towards maintaining the policy of ensuring sustainability in design as well as inclusiveness in the implementation throughout the remaining period of the project in the state.
Jidawa stated this when the World Bank’s MCRP implementation support mission task team led by Faud Malkawi accompanied by the North East Development Commission (NEDC) entourage visited the Yobe project unit in Damaturu.
The coordinator said prioritizing sustainability and inclusiveness in the implementation of the projects are key to realization of the set objectives for value on the money spent.
He said, “Sustainability has remained at the centre of our interventions as we have taken steps to improve operations and maintenance of the infrastructure completed under component 2 to secure their sustainability.”
