The El-BIRRU Muslim Association of Nigerià (EMAN), Àbuja Zone Has orgànise public lecture for Muslim Ummah in FCT to mark the HIJRA the movement of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), from Mecca to Medina and a memorial lecture for member of the association.
The lecture which took place at the weekend in Abuja. Featured launching of the Association islamic HIJRA calendar and funds raising for the provision of borehole at the Jumàah Mosque in Kogi Central.
The Amir of EMAN Àbuja Zone, Dr sheikh Hussain Abdallah Rahman while delivering his speech call on Muslim Ummah to rededicate themselves to service of the Almighty Allah.
With the lecture Topic: ” The Ummah as Envisaged by Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), the lecture which
attracted members of the association from far and near within FCT and beyond with a call on Muslim Ummah to leave a life of Sacrifice.
According to Amir of the Association, ” We pray today for the soul of our departed Ameer Arc. Abdulyekeen Mamman a dedicated leader who works tirelessly towards today lecture alas Allah called him back some days to the Hijrah occasion Allahu Akbar. May Allah accept his selfless efforts as an acts of Ibadat and console the family in particular and the Ummah in general.
‘ We gathered here because of one admirable and emittable footstep of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), the Hijra, Immigration from Mecca to Medina Al -Munawara, then from the city where Darkness prevailed to the city where light illuminated and as a result named as the City of Light”,
” Compared to the period of Jahiliyah (ignorance), in our country and other places of the world, a deliberate pleasurable orchestrated move by some of us in direct disobedience of the orders of the Almighty Allah and committing of abominations never heard in history”.
” We need to caution ourselves and migrate from this incestuous acts. Allah said: indeed it was shameful and most hateful and an evil way ………(Q 4 Ayah 22 -23)
People pray in the mosques and their after, go to commit abominations crimes sins and incests”.
We should therefore re- focus and re-examine our faith in Allah and be steadfast. I am particularly challenged and urged to draw attentions of Muslims worldwide on the deviations from the Prophet’s mode of observing the five compulsory daily prayers (Salat). Because he has specifically commanded us to pray “pray as you see me observe my Salatul (prayer). There is no time for me to dwell on this now but there’s a pamphlet prepared by a renowned Sheikh, Sheikh Abubakar Yusuf El-Rufai which will help you correct this deviations to conform with the Holy Prophet’s mode of Salat as an order.
EMAN – El-Birru (Ebira) Muslim Association of Nigeria, headquarter in Kaduna State, with branches all over Nigeria, where we here belong to the FCT Abuja Branch. EMAN is an umbrella Organisation for all Ebira Muslims and their Islamic Organizations and Associations, anywhere all over Nigeria. Its chains of activities are tailored to unite and bring them together.
Among very many programmes and activities of EMAN is the making and printing of Annual Islamic Hijra Calendar to guide the Muslims, the dates and Timing of enshrined obligatory duties made for them to observe, commencing from the five daily prayers, fast of Ramadan, Night of Majesty, the Islamic Festive periods, Pilgrimage to Mecca, Tasua and Ashura etc.
” EMAN, organizes Village Daawah/ Medical Outreach, to nooks and corners where Ebiras live.
It also launches borehole for Jumaah Mosques in Kogi Central. Two Jumaah Mosques are already beneficiaries of this program namely Okene Central Jumaah Mosque and Central Jumaah Mosque in Ogaminana Adavi LGA.
” Today we are going into the third phase of this project. EMAN organizes many other programs too numerous to be mentioned here.
We hear by solicit the attention cooperation and support of all Ebira Muslims both in Abuja, Okene and other places to join hands with EMAN to stand in for Allah and propagate Islam”.
The guest Speaker of the public lecture Prof. Adam Ahmad, who is the provost Nigerià Defence College, reminds Muslim that all what they have is given to them my the almighty Allah as such they contribute towards the development of project aim at uplifting the works of Allah.
