Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has sworn in 30 Commissioners, 30 Special Advisers and 5 Permanent Secretaries, charging them to be selfless to enhance growth and development of the state.
The event was held at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre, Minna, where the Chief Judge of the State,Justice Halima Abdulmalik administered the oath of office and allegiance on the new Commissioners.
The governor tasked them to embrace teamwork and complement each other as key drivers of government policies and programmes to achieve the desired objective of the present administration.
Bago said the appointees were selected strictly on merits, competence and proven record of hard work and charged them to bring their wealth of experience and excellence to bear.
He however reminded them not to be complacent, docile and corrupt as their appointments are not an opportunity for selfish gains.
