The member Representing Kontagora, Mariga and Wushishi federal constituency at the House of Representatives Abdullahi Idris Garba (Mai solar) has advised Nigerian youths to desist from being used as instrument by political opponents.
He made the call while speaking with newsmen in Kontagora, reacting to a viral video where he was seen to be attacked with mockery words from some youths.
Idris Garba stated that the youths have allowed themselves to be controlled and sponsored by political enemies and opposition, insisted that he was not chased away from his polling unit during just concluded local government elections in the state.
Abdullahi Idris Garba emphasized that the youths in the country should take advantage of their strength to venture into productive means of livelihood rather than seating ideal to be used as instruments of political thuggery and other criminal tendencies.
He urged women and youths from his constituency to make use opportunity of his various empowerment programs to be self reliant, financial independent for the development of their family and communities.
He urged his colleagues that in their time let history record that they did not shirk from truth, nor flinch from responsibility, but urged our people toward leaders worthy of their trust.)
