PDP: Gov Agbu to chair campaign team for Bayelsa November 11 election

The National Working Committee NWC of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has appointed Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas as Chairman of the Bayelsa State National Campaign Council.

In a statement signed and issued to Journalists on Sunday by chief press secretary to the Governor, Yusuf Sanda said, Governor Agbu Kefas and his team would be inaugurated on Wednesday 2nd August 2023, at the National Secretariat of the PDP, Wadata House, Abuja.

“Dr. Agbu Kefas will lead a 122-member strong team to mobilize support for the re-election campaign of Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa state in the November 11, 2023, off-cycle election.

“This important national assignment is in recognition of the sterling leadership qualities and democratic credentials of Dr Agbu Kefas which has been applauded at home and abroad.

“The Campaign Council will be inaugurated on Wednesday 2nd August 2023 at the National Secretariat of the PDP, Wadata House, Abuja”.
