Governor Usman Saidu Dakingari of Kebbi State has called on the supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state not to panic ahead of the forthcoming general election as the party would use its former formula to win the election and ensure that PDP governorship candidate emerges winner.
Addressing party supporters at the Haliru Abdul Stadium in the state capital, Birnin-Kebbi yesterday, the governor added that, Kebbi has been a PDP state since 2007 and he would ensure that the party delivers the state.
“I would not allow any opposition parties to take over the state from me, those that leave the party left for their selfish interest” he added.
Dakingari further pointed out that based on his achievements and dividends of democracy provided to the people, he believe that the electorate will vote for them.
“I constructed roads, hospitals, schools and infrastructures such as electricity and supply of water” he explained.
The governor, who expressed dismay over the attitudes of some politicians who he said were jumping from one party to another, described them as ingrates.
