The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, FCT Command, Dr Olusola Odumosu has commended the conduct of voters and security officers during the Area Council election in the FCT.
Odumosu gave the commendation on Saturday while monitoring the conducts of officers at the polls.
The commandant who spoke during a tour of various polling units in the FCT said the exercise is a success.
He said the success stories at various polling units were occasioned by meticulous planning and coordination among security agencies.
“Meanwhile, the NSCDC, alongside sister agencies such as the Nigeria Police and the State Security Service SSS, remain on standby to checkmate individuals who may be planning to cause violence or attempt to upturn the election outcomes.”
