Radda Hails Appointment of 4 Katsina Indigenes Into Key Federal Positions
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated four indigenes of the state on their appointments to key federal positions by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He described the appointments as well-deserved and rewards for their competence, dedication and sterling service to Nigeria.
Radda said the reappointment of Professor Idris M. Bugaje as Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for a fresh five-year term is an apt recognition of his transformation of the board during his first term.

Bugaje is a seasoned academic and administrator of proven ability, who has spent decades championing the cause of technical and vocational education in Nigeria.
During his first term, he repositioned the NBTE to become a more responsive and result-driven regulatory body, driving accreditation reforms, expanding access to technical education across the country and strengthening industry-institution linkages that are critical to youth employability.
According to the governor, Bugaje’s reappointment is a loud testament to his exceptional performance.
He expressed confidence that his second term will unlock even broader opportunities for Nigeria’s teeming young people seeking skills-based education and training.
Similarly, the governor appreciated the reappointment of Engr. Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

He said it was a recognition of Abdulaziz’s deep engineering expertise and proven capacity to drive the urgent transformation of Nigeria’s power transmission infrastructure, which remains central to the country’s economic growth and industrialisation.
He equally celebrated Senator Ibrahim Ida, Wazirin Katsina, on his appointment as Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

He said Senator Ida as a man of vast legislative experience and sound knowledge of business and governance, would bring to the CAC a renewed vigour in carrying out its regulation of corporate entities in Nigeria and promote a more healthier business environment.
On the appointment of Professor Sadiq Isah Radda as Commissioner, National Population Commission, the governor said his robust academic and wide administrative experience, makes him exceptionally qualified to contribute to Nigeria’s population data governance, which is vital for national planning and development.

While commending President Tinubu for finding Katsina indigenes worthy of the national assignments, the governor charged them to be upright, transparent and purposeful in the discharge of their responsibilities.
“Katsina is proud of you. Serve Nigeria with integrity and let your work speak for the state that produced you,” he added.
