Radda Inspects Zobe Water Booster Station at Kafin Soli

The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has conducted an inspection visit to the Kafin Soli Water Plant Booster Station, a key facility under the ongoing ₦31.8 billion Zobe Water Supply Project.

The project is designed to convey treated water from Zobe Dam to communities along the corridor in Dutsin-Ma, Kankia, Charanchi, Rimi, Batagarawa, Kurfi and Katsina local government areas.

During the visit, which was to assess the progress of work at the site, the governor was conducted round the facility by the Project Manager of Mutual Construction Company and briefed on the current status of the project and the operational importance of the booster station.

The Kafin Soli Booster Station will serve as a major hub within the regional water network and will plays a critical role in the transmission and extension of pipelines under the Zobe Dam water scheme.

Radda observed the arrival of high-density polyethylene pipes at the Kafin Soli yard, which is a key component for the pipeline installation works.

The project is part of the state government’s commitment to expanding access to clean potable water, the strengthening of public infrastructure, and improving the living conditions of the people.

Radda was accompanied on the visit by the Chief of Staff, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, and other senior government officials.
