Governor of Kano state, Abba Kabir Yusuf has assured people of the state that he will new chapter of development from Monday (yesterday).
Addressing the mammoth crowd that welcomed him to Kano after his triumph in the Supreme Court yesterday, the governor said his government, from its inception, had been a people-oriented.
According to him, his administration had a great plan for the greater development of the state in the area of economy, education, health and infrastructure.
He also assured the teeming youths and women in the state that their life would be better under his stewardship.
“Since the beginning of this administration, we have a great planned for you. We will improve your standard of living. By tomorrow, Monday, you will begin to see a new chapter of development in Kano.
“We have a greater plan in the areas of economy, education health and infrastructure.
Youths and women are also in my mind. We have a greater plan for you,” he said.
Governor Yusuf then thanked the people of the state for their overwhelming support to his administration and the Kwankwasiyya Movement.
He also thanked the judges of the Supreme Court for affirming him as the duly elected governor of the state, adding that their honest verdict had save the image of judiciary and democracy.
“I also thanked our leader, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso for his effort to ensure justice is served in our case. He is a great leader indeed,” he said.
