Suspected ritualists operating along Ogwashi-Uku, Ubuluku road near Asaba Delta state, have allegedly killed a pregnant woman and two others in a farm land in the area.
Reports said the bodies of the victims were found in the farm land on Monday evening by passersby with parts of their bodies mutilated and removed.
It was reliably gathered that Ogwashi-Uku/ Ubulu-Uku axis has been “marked” Danger zone(s) during night fall, following the rampaging activities of suspected ritualists. Unconfirmed sources said the pregnant woman may have hailed from Ubulu-Uku community with indication of her pregnancy shown after the bizarre act committed by the suspects.
But the police public relations officer in the State, Dsp Celestina Kalu who confirmed the incident disclosed that efforts were being made by police detectives to track down the evil doers, adding that three suspected ritualists were recently arrested in the same act.
