Three people were yesterday paraded by the Plateau State Police Command for alleged gang raping of 14 year old Zainab Mohammed.
The state Commissioner of Police, Undie Adie, while parading the suspects at command’s Headquarters said on 23, January, 2018 at about 1300hrs the suspects lured and drugged Basima Bashir, 14 before they rapped her in Anguwan Rogo community of Jos North local government area of Plateau State.
The names of the suspects were given as Suleiman Usman, 18, Umar Aliyu, 18 and Usman Bala, 20 all of Angwan Rogo in Jos.
Adie added that after the police had received the report, it swung into action and arrested the suspects except Kenza whom his room was allegedly to be used in gang-raping the girl.
He said, “After the girl was drugged and became unconscious, she was then raped by the suspects,”
He further disclosed that the suspects had equally confessed to the allegation except Kenza who was still at large.
