Niger State Governor Mohamed Umar Bago has applauded state workers effort and contributions to the development of the state.

He emphasized the crucial role in enhancing governmen policy and programs.

He made this known to mark International Workers Day celebration 2025.

He assured of timely payment of gratuity and pension.

In his remarks, the senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, who is also the chairman Senate committee on finance, Mohammed Sani Musa 313 said the recent tax reform bill will not affect workers in the country, hence they should support government policy.

Earlier the chairman Nigeria Labour Congress Niger State Council Idris Abdulkareem Lafene represented by chairman Trade union Congress Ibrahim Gana applauded the Governor’s commitment to the progress of the state civil servants as well as his contribution to improving the welfare of the state civil servants.
