The Project Coordinator Yobe State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes ACReSAL, Shehu Alhaji Mohammed, on has flagged off the training of enumerators for gender assessment and inclusion plan.
The two-day training was being facilitated by the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative.
In his welcome remarks, the Project Coordinator urged the participants to pay attention to the details of the training which would be fully utilised when deployed in the field.
He noted that some local governments across Yobe State were selected for the pilot project.
The objectives of the training according to the consulting firm are to orient the data collection team on ACReSAL project and gender inclusion, research ethics, study objectives and methodology and so on.
ACReSAL a World Bank-funded project is designed to increase landscapes restoration, enhance food production and improve livelihoods in the 19 northern states and Abuja.
