A 62-year-old man, Dotti Jumba is in Police net, for his involvement in the killing of his son in law, one Umaru Ahmadu, Wakilin Guji, in Tumbarja in Kubdia dstrict of Gamawa local government area of Bauchi state

A statement made available to newsmen in Bauchi by the Bauchi state Command Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Haruna Muhammed, said the suspect was arrested by detectives attached to Gamawa division on Friday, October 31, 2014 at about 1pm.

The PPRO informed that the man allegedly contracted four people, whom he gave N40, 000 to kill his 28-year-old son-in-law, one Umaru Ahmadu, a resident of Matamu, in Gamawa local government area.

The suspects are one Sani Jumba, aged 22 years and Bura Manu aged 20 years, all males, of Kubdia District and two others now at large. One Umaru Ahmadu male, 28 years of Matamu in Gamawa LGA.

He said instead of the ‘contractors’ to do what they were contracted to do, they missed their target and killed his father, one Ahmadu Wakili Guji.

Apart from Dotti Jumba, the Police spokesman informed that two other suspects, 22-year-old Sani Jumba and 20-year-old Bura Manu, both from Kubdia district, adding that two others, including the intermediary who collected the money from Jumba and paid the others, were now at large.

He said that the police is making efforts to apprehend the fleeing accomplice and would be charged to court to face the full wrath of the law as soon as investigation is completed.
