The Cleen foundation with support from McArthur foundation has trained criminal justice actors with aims to reduce the high number of inmates that are awaiting trials in Jigawa state.
The foundation programs officer monitoring and evaluation, Mr Odo Nnamdi Hyginus announced the moves while delivering an opening remarks for a two day training at Hiatel hotel Dutse on Wednesday.
He explained that, the participants that comprised Nigeria Police, Correctional services officers, NBA, ministry of Justice, legal aid, high court among other stakeholders will look on the administration of criminal justice law 2019 and criminal justice act 2015.
