Parents have been encouraged to ensure positive upbringing of children.
The Bishop of Kaduna Diocese, Anglican Communion RT.Rev. Timothy Yahaya made the assertion in a sermon he delivered during the Father’s Day service held in kaduna yesterday.
According to him, the best blessing a Father could provide for his children was values and a situation to exhibit those qualities.
The Bishop added that, when fathers live up to their responsibilities in the family, they will help in checking the deviant behaviours rearing their ugly heads among youths in the society.
He said that the Bible apportioned significant roles to fathers in the character-moulding of the children.
