The Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency (KADHSMA), Pharm. Aisha Isyaku Tukur has said that the newly upgraded Pharma grade Warehouse will enable the agency to address counterfeit and substandard health commodities across the State.

The Executive Secretary asserted this during the commissioning of the warehouse by the State Governor, Sen. Uba Sani, at the Agency yesterday.

She revealed that Kaduna State has reached the “ready to integrate” stage in public health commodities integration, describing it as a milestone that underscored the State’s commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

The E.S. stressed that KADSHMA played a pivotal role in ensuring that essential medicines and medical supplies are available, accessible, and of the highest quality.

She opined that the Pharma-grade warehouse is not just a facility but the backbone of the State’s healthcare supply chain, noting that only two States in Nigeria, Kaduna and Nasarawa, have achieved this milestone.

According to her, the achievement represents the State Government’s unwavering dedication to strengthening the systems that ensure life-saving medications reach every corner of Kaduna state to improve the health outcomes of its people.
