The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering robust infrastructure aimed at enhancing connectivity, driving economic activities, and improving the welfare of its residents and workforce.
The Minister of State for the FCT, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, stated this at the recent official commaissioning of a newly completed road network in the nation’s capital.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Mahmoud expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to infrastructure development.
She noted that the newly commissioned project is a direct reflection of the administration’s dedication to economic growth, social inclusion, and elevating the quality of life for all FCT residents.
According to the Minister, the strategic road network will unlock new possibilities for the territory, creating clear pathways for opportunities, widespread prosperity, and sustainable development across the capital.
Dr. Mahmoud highly commended the leadership and members of the National Assembly for their steadfast legislative support and constructive partnership with the FCT Administration.
She described their ongoing collaboration as highly instrumental to the seamless funding and delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
In her closing remarks, the Minister paid special tribute to the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, whose relentless drive continues to transform the capital city.
She also praised the dedicated engineers, contractors, consultants, security agencies, and community leaders whose professionalism, synergy, and hard work ensured the project was completed successfully.
The FCT Administration, she concluded, remains fully resolute in prioritizing high-impact infrastructure that fosters regional connectivity and promotes sustainable economic welfare.
