The Presiding Pastor of the Masters Place International, Korede Komaiya, has emphasised the importance of parental blessings, describing them as a major covenant secret for fulfilling destiny.
Komaiya made the assertion in a recently released video message, where he urged individuals to prioritise their parents’ wellbeing.
According to the cleric, “If you have your mother alive, father alive, you have gold mines alive,” stressing that parental blessings are critical to purpose and destiny fulfilment.
He advised children to ensure their parents enjoy the fruits of their labour, urging them to provide consistent support regardless of financial capacity.
“Place them on salary, even if it is N2,000. Not comme ci comme ça. Even when they don’t need it, do it. It is the covenant you are practising,” he said.
The pastor further noted that sacrifice remains a key element in maintaining strong family ties, adding that individuals must be attentive to their parents’ needs.
“Something must leave you to your parents. Listen carefully to their needs,” he emphasised.
Komaiya also cautioned against neglect, warning that avoidable suffering should not be allowed.
“Don’t let mosquito kill your parents and you spend N7m on their burial,” he said.
While acknowledging that parents may have shortcomings, he urged forgiveness and compassion.
“If they have made mistakes, we all do. Can you please forgive? Be the fulfilment of their dream,” he added.
He concluded by urging individuals to ensure their parents live fulfilled lives, describing it as a spiritual responsibility.
“You owe your parents one thing — let them die happy. Let your parents thank God for having you. It is a major covenant secret,” Komaiya stressed.
