The Provost Nasarawa state College of Nursing and Sciences Mr. Solomon Zari has charged Students of the institution to be disciplined and show more commitment to their studies at all times.
He also commended Governor Sule for given attention to the College to succeed.
Zari, who stated this at the weekend he while in an interview with Journalists in Lafia on the performance of the college at the national level in 2023 and 2024, where some students of the college were rated one of the best in the whole country.
He said: “I want to thank God first for standing behind us.I sincerely commended Governor Sule for his effort in adding more qualified teachers, facilities to college which resulted to most of our students becoming the best in the country.”
The provost further assured that more efforts has been put in place by authority of the college to give adequate skills to students for a better output in future.
He however called on the state government to come to the aid of the institution by providing mobility which is the biggest challenge in the college.
” We are in need of a Coastal Bus to take our students to clinical areas for practicals. The old bus has always being a problem to us on daily basis.
“We are calling on our listening Governor (Sule) to help us with a Coastal Bus to enable us carry our students to Clinical areas”, the college boss added.
Zari also appealed to the state government to renovate the exiting students hostels as well as build more inorder to accommodate the students.
