A self-acclaimed examination malpractice emblazoned on a final year student T-shirt, Peace Ufuoma, has raised the suspicion of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) authorities to institute a probe panel of investigation.
Ufuoma became a person of interest after she shared a video on the internet celebrating the end of her final examinations at Ugbowo Campus in the institution.
The final year student of Microbiology clad in the outfit with the inscription ‘daggers dice malpractice brought me this far’.
Public Relations officer of the University of Benin, Dr. (Mrs.) Benedicta Ehanire confirmed the report to our Correspondent.
She dismissed claims in the sewage of social media that Management of the University, had been ordered to rewrite all examinations from 200 Level.
She said: “The University is following due process and panels set up to investigate the issue are yet to submit their reports to Management for consideration”.
The probe Committee is headed by the Head of Microbiology Department, Faculty of Life Sciences, University, Professor Mrs. S. E. Oviasogie.
